Services

Logistics & operations consulting built for real-world execution.

K-Lynx helps growing businesses improve the systems behind their daily operations. We work across logistics, transportation, warehouse, delivery, retail, food-service, and field-service environments to reduce waste, improve visibility, and build scalable workflows.

01

Operations Optimization

We review your current workflows, identify bottlenecks, and help redesign the way work moves through your business. Common areas include inbound and outbound transportation, warehouse flow, dispatch routines, inventory management, labor planning, manager checklists, and daily execution rhythm.

02

Transportation & Fleet Strategy

We help businesses improve route planning, fleet usage, dispatch communication, maintenance tracking, and transportation cost control. Common areas include fleet allocation, routing efficiency, driver workflows, dispatch handoffs, maintenance visibility, and DOT readiness for small carriers.

03

Warehouse & Inventory Systems

We help teams improve receiving, staging, storage, replenishment, cycle counts, outbound readiness, and inventory visibility. This includes receiving flow, put-away, slotting, staging, cycle count processes, inventory accuracy, and WMS/ERP process alignment.

04

SOPs, Hiring & Onboarding

We turn tribal knowledge into clear operating procedures, training flows, and manager routines. Common areas include SOP creation, new-hire onboarding, manager checklists, role expectations, escalation paths, and performance tracking.

05

Fractional Operations Support

For businesses that need ongoing operations leadership, K-Lynx can serve as a fractional operations partner to help guide execution, improve process discipline, support growth, review KPIs, coach workflows, and help implement scalable systems.

K-Lynx Case Study — Mobile Inventory System

Case Study

Spreadsheets couldn't keep up with the rollout.
So we built something that could.

When a multi-site retail technology rollout needed to track thousands of camera units moving between warehouses and install zones, K-Lynx designed and built a mobile-first inventory system from the ground up — not just a process recommendation.

The Problem

Visibility that lived in someone's head

Hardware was moving between warehouses and store-level install zones every day — arriving, staging, shipping back out. The tracking lived in spreadsheets, paper counts, and whoever happened to remember the last update. Every discrepancy meant a manual reconciliation across sites before anyone could trust the numbers.

What We Built

A tool built for the floor, not the office

Scan-First Counting

Cartons and units get logged with a barcode scan or a single tap — no manual tallies, no re-typing counts at a desk later.

Zone-to-Zone Transfers

Moving hardware between warehouses and install sites is logged at the point of transfer, so the system reflects where things actually are.

Shipment & Install Requests

New shipments and install jobs are created with a project reference and expected ship date, then reconciled against what actually arrives.

Batch Confirmation & Audit Trail

Every count gets committed as a named batch, so there's a clear record of who logged what, and when.

Field-Tested, Not Just Shipped

The friction points became the spec

Before rolling it out further, K-Lynx ran the system through real batches with a field operator acting as a user-acceptance tester — and treated what broke as the next build step, not an afterthought.

  • Fast taps on mobile were triggering the browser's pinch-zoom. Rebuilt the input handling so scanning stays fast without fighting the screen.
  • Submissions had a beat of lag with no feedback, so people weren't sure a batch went through. Added a clear on-screen confirmation the moment a batch commits.
  • Free-text fields let typos and inconsistent naming into the data. Replaced open text entry with structured dropdowns wherever the input needed to be reliable.

Outcomes

What changed

01

Real-time visibility

Zone-level counts reflect the current state, not last week's export.

02

Fewer errors at the source

Structured inputs replaced the free-text fields that used to introduce typos and mismatched records.

03

Adoption that stuck

Built around how the scanning actually happens on the floor — so field staff kept using it past the pilot.

Running an operation held together by spreadsheets and good intentions?

If your fleet, warehouse, or field team is tracking anything that matters in a spreadsheet, a notebook, or someone's memory, K-Lynx can build something better — the same way we built this.
